This will be a fun event where TBN members (and guests) will have their own private Karaoke room at one of Toronto's best Karaoke venues. Below are some comments from regular visitors.
“Hands down the best karaoke spot in Toronto! The song choices are endless, the tablet system is so easy to use, and the staff makes you feel like a VIP.” – Lisa M.
“Perfect for parties! The private rooms are spacious, the sound system is top-notch, and the energy is always electric.” – Jason K. “Love the atmosphere! The tablet app makes song selection a breeze, great drinks, great service, and so much fun. Can’t wait to come back!” – Emily R.

Bar + Karaoke Lounge has different size rooms for groups from 3 to 100 people. As this will be our first time offering this event, we have reserved a small room that holds up to 8 people. Participants will pay at the venue. The cost of the room will depend on the number of people signed up and the time we spend there. If we have a small number of participants, we will likely only stay for an hour or so. With a larger group, we may stay for 90 minutes or two hours.
The venue has a selection of snacks including chicken wings, nuggets and fries. There are also soft drinks, juice, tea, a fairly large selection of beer, cocktails and a reasonable wine list. View the menu and other information about the venue here.
This event is open to all TBN members and their guests.
Bar + Karaoke Lounge is conveniently located on Yonge Street between College and Dundas. It's a four-minute walk from TMU (Dundas) Station. View the venue on the map here.
If the event is full, please add your name to the wait list. If there are enough people on the list, we can switch to a bigger room.

March Dining Out: Italian
On Thursday, March 19, we will be dining at Toronto's most famous and possibly best Italian restaurant chains, but we will be where it all begins, at Terroni Sud Forno Produzione E Spaccio.
With the goal of maintaining consistency, in spite of the growing number of locations, Spaccio was born and it acts as the backstage to the main show taking place between the tables at Terroni and Sud Forno. The spaghetti in your Norcina, the bread in your breadbasket, the pizza dough of your Scattagengive, the sausage in your Pappardelle alla Iosa, your Torta Calda and so on, will all be made at the centralized artisanal hub that is Produzione e Spaccio.
Spaccio East is housed in a 16,000 square foot building under 40 foot ceilings with skylights and has many moving parts and layers. It is here where all the all-important Materia Prima and uncompromising innovation come together to create something special and authentic in this Italian food journey.
Spaccio East boasts a massive open-concept central kitchen, a caffe’, a well-stocked storefront and a restaurant. Our caffè features coffee, pastries, cakes and more. Our storefront is stocked with products made in house and imported goods from Italy such as Italian staple foods and handmade ceramics.
You can view the menu and more info about the restaurant here:
Our reservation is for 6:30, so please try to arrive on time.
This event is limited to 16 members and their guests. Please register before Tuesday, March 17 at midnight. Because these events are very popular, there is always a wait list, so please remember to cancel if you cannot make it. Note that if you register and then not attend, and you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the event, you will be moved to the wait list for the next dinner you register for.
Terroni Spaccio East is located at 22 Sackville St, which is a 5-minute walk from Parliament and King. View the map here.
Questions or suggestions for other restaurants, please contact Ken Lackman, Social Director at social@tbn.ca.

PLEASE NOTE: All riders, including "30-Day-Trial" members, must register to participate in this CC. Please read registration details on the CC webpage

There are two lunch stop options: one is in Bradford (58km route; can also be a snack stop for the longer routes) and the other is in Schomberg (69km & 75km routes).

March Pub Quiz
You are invited to attend the monthly trivia night at Arisu Authentic Korean and Japanese Restaurant on Tuesday, March 31. Please register before Monday, March 30 at 6 pm.
Unfortunately, the Prenup Pub has closed down to make way for apartments. Fortunately, we have been able to move the quiz to a great Korean and Japanese restaurant. Arisu has a huge menu with an incredible variety of Japanese/Korean food including Korean BBQ, sushi, and a number of vegan/vegetarian options. It also has an extensive drink list featuring a good selection of wine, spirits, sake and soju. It has a good choice of bottled beers and six craft and Japanese beers on tap, which are available at the 1980s price of $5.99 a pint. View the full menu here.
Arisu also has a wonderful staff and a nice patio, which we may be able to use in the warmer months.
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
This will be an unusual pub quiz in that the participants will choose the categories before the quiz begins. Virtually any category is possible, including history, geography, 80s music, Soviet fashion, marine biology, supramolecular chemistry, and even cycling. The teams or four or five will brainstorm possible categories, and we all vote to determine the five most popular topics. Then, since each team will be responsible for one round of questions, they will work together to compose 8-10 questions in their assigned category. Phones are permitted only during this phase and during the break.
Arisu is conveniently located at 584 Bloor Street West on the corner of Bloor and Markham Street. It's a 30-second walk from Bathurst subway station if you use the Markham Street entrance. There is a large parking lot behind the restaurant.
View the map here.
On the first scheduled Saturday Morning Ride of 2026, you will be able to appreciate, while riding, some of the changes to be found in town on the lakefront/portlands. We will cross the new bridges now in place for the relocation of the Don River mouth. It's now rideable!
The ride starts from the parking lot on the Lakeshore, east of Coxwell and follows lakeshore and Martin Goodman trail (paths and streets) including the new Cherry Street bridge and on through the city to the Humber River lighthouse. There is no coffee stop on this route; bring your own snack for the pause at the turnaround. The return is by a very similar route. Total about 37kms - should finish about 12:30 to1:00pm.
This is an Urban Roller level ride. If you are uncertain whether this level is appropriate to your riding level, click here.
We are accepting Guest Rider registrations. Guest riders must be registered and the $15 fee paid prior to checking-in with the ride leader.

VICTORIA SQUARE TO BROOKS FARM
A ride well known to the WW and FF programs, this is the first time it has been scheduled on a Sunday for Country Cruisers. The ride departs from Victoria Square and continues north along favourable roads, with some hills, to Brooks Farm. According to the WWs, "the roads are good and the chocolate milk and butter tarts never cease to please." With its reasonably close proximity to Toronto, this is a nice ride to do early in the season, as a "warm up" for lots of riding in the months ahead.
Start: 10:00am Meet at the Victoria Square Park parking lot, located at 2929 Elgin Mills Rd. E., in Markham.
Distances: 69km & 85km
RWGPS CUES AND MAPS: Victoria Square to Brooks Farm - 69km & 85km

We tenatively plan on doing a City Walk on this date, unless the weather is good enough for cycling. Check back later to confirm. Here's a short first ride to ease us into the season as some of you may not have been on the bike during the winter (which is probably most of us).
Meet at Etienne Brule Park for a 10 am start.
We have a snack stop at a small Tim Hortons near Sherway Gardens, but you might want to bring a snack of your own.
The Ride with GPS map for the route is linked below, as well as a simplified cue sheet. The RwGPS auto-generated cuesheet has not been checked, but the linked cue sheet has been optimised for Sunday Urban Rollers.
