CANCELLED - Due to forecast freezing rain, ice storm, and 70 to 80 Km/h winds on Sunday, this walk is cancelled.
The weather forecast is again indicating a rainy (80% POP) and cool (High 4C) day on Sunday. So if you would like to go for a walk, meet at 10 AM at Rosedale subway station (street level near ticket booth) for a walk of about 10 Km that will go in a loop and end back at Rosedale station.
Note that on Sunday there is a scheduled outage between Kipling and Jane, as this may affect your travel plans. For details see the TTC Scheduled Closures web page.
The route has not been completely planned yet, but will include a coffee stop and at least one bathroom stop. Lunch stop will be at The Quail, a Firkin Pub.
Along the way we will look at a few points of interest. There is no separate short route, but as we will be mostly downtown, we should never be more than about 1/2 Km from a subway station, streetcar route, or bus, for those wishing to leave early. This walk will be entirely on city streets.
This is an official TBN event. Non-members are welcome to join us. They will not be charged the non-member fee, but will be asked to sign the waiver form.
