A 67, 82 or 99 km ride from Keswick along the edge of Lake Simcoe through Stephen Leacock territory past Sibbald Point Provincial Park to lunch at Virginia Beach Marina and Restaurant. There are other lunch options in Sutton, including the Lakeside Pizzeria & Gelateria on Lake Dr (great espresso) and the Tim's on Dalton Rd. Meet for a 10 am departure at West Park on Ravenshoe Road. To get to Keswick go north on the 404 to its end and then proceed briefly north on Woodbine Ave to Ravenshoe Rd. Turn left (west). West Park is on Ravenshoe Rd about three kilometres along just west of The Queensway at the bottom of the hill. Driving directions

Caution note: it's going to be cool and windy tomorrow. Please ride with extra care. Consider riding in groups so that you don't find yourself all alone battling a headwind. The route below is a modified medium/long route that partially addresses the forecast NW direction of the wind. The route eliminates some of the kilometres that would otherwise take you due north towards Lake Simcoe and then due west along Lake Simcoe. The pdf map has not been enhanced. The pdf cue sheet is in standard form. If you take this route, we suggest you lunch in Pefferlaw at the 42 kilometre point. There are both stores and restaurants to choose from.
