Please Register - Only REGISTRANTS are permitted to participate in this event.

Please also keep in mind that Winter Hiking is different than Fall Hiking.  

PROPER CLOTHING + FOOTWEAR + CRAMPON STYLE ICERS ARE REQUIRED.

Icers may not be required for this hike but should be available in your bag if needed.

We follow the Niagara Escarpment in Dundas Valley Conservation Area and encounter many Ancaster waterfalls along the trail. Some hills and steep declines on this loop hike. We will see lookouts, a replica of a Victorian train station, ruins, and rolling terrain.  Fees to park.

Distance:  11 km

Pace:  Moderate (3.5 km/hr)

Terrain:  Moderate - hills       Please make sure you wear appropriate footwear including icers if necessary.  Poles are also a good addition 

Directions:  Take the QEW west to  hwy 403 towards Hamilton (follow signs for Hamilton/Brantford) and take exit 64 for Mowhawk Rd/Rosseau St. Follow Mowhawk and turn right on Wilson and then left on Montgomery.  Turn right onto Old Dundas Rd and at the bend continue straight onto Lions Club Road and turn right onto Artaban Rd.  This is a restricted road.  NEW parking lot at 917 Artaban Rd.  Day Use fee in effect, so car pool, if possible.  The rate per car is 11.00
