Fall Hiking - Terra Cotta/ Silver Creek - 13 km RESCHEDULED (FROM NOV 15)

NOTE:   THIS HIKE WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR NOV 15 BUT BECAUSE OF WEATHER CONCERNS WE CHANGED IT TO SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14.  SAME HIKE   SAME TIME  DIFFERENT DAY

WE APOLOGIZE TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY BUT IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS EITHER RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL.

At this time, we are not accepting "guest" registrations. TBN events are currently for members only.

Note:   Because of the large number of people on the waiting list we have decided to do 2 hikes.  They will both be the same in all aspects except that we will divide the people registered into 2 groups starting 15 minutes apart.  

Starting with the Terra Cotta side trail we will go west and cross over to the Silver Creek Conservation area using the Bruce Trail.  The hike will include the Roberts and Irvin Quarry Trail.  There will be lots of hills, roots and rocks to be negotiated so please make sure you wear suitable footwear

Distance:  13 km

Pace:  3.5 km/hr

Terrain:  Moderate with some hills and/or poor footing

Driving Direction:  Hwy 410 north - continue on Hwy 10 north.  Turn left on King Street (9) and then right on Winston Churchill.  Drive approximately 1 km to roadside parking when the Caledon Trailway intersects
