City Walk - York Mills to Davisville

Meet at 10 AM at the York Mills Subway Station, ground floor of the York Mills Centre, near the Starbucks.

We will walk about 11 Km from York Mills to Davisville Station, staying fairly close to Yonge Street. The walk will be almost entirely on city sidewalks, with only a brief walk in a park (if it is not slippery). Light hiking shoes or boots, suitable for the weather conditions would be appropriate.

Points of interest and early exits are at:

• 0.0 Km - York Mills Centre (Starbucks, bathroom)
• 0.2 Km - Hogg's Hollow Disaster plaque
• 0.9 Km - Jolly Miller Tavern
• 1.2 Km - Millstone Parkette
• 2.0 Km - Yonge Boulevard Parkette (Toronto's Northern Gateway)
• 3.0 Km - Kristapson's Smoked Salmon
• 3.1 Km - Tim Hortons (coffee/bathroom)
• 4.0 Km - early exit to Lawrence bus (about 500 m walk to Lawrence Station)
• 5.0 Km - Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens (early exit to Lawrence Station about 500m walk)
• 6.5 Km (possible emergency bathroom break at Tim Hortons (Yonge & Sheldrake))
• 6.7 Km - early exit to Yonge St. bus
  
• 6.8 Km - St. Clements School
• 7.4 Km - Duplex Ave. & Orchard View Blvd., approx 200 m walk to Eglinton Station
• 7.7 Km - North Toronto Community Centre (bathroom break)
• 8.9 Km - Blooming Orchid Restaurant (lunch stop, early exit to Eglinton bus (to Eglinton or Eglinton West Stations))
• 10.8 Km - Davisville Station (Tim Hortons, Starbucks)

Non-members are welcome. They will be asked to sign the waiver form but will not be charged the non-member fee.
