Waterloo Wramble Cycling Weekend
June 20 – 22, 2014
Ride the quiet country roads of the Waterloo region, enjoying the early summer weather without the vacation traffic on the roads.
We'll arrange a group supper Friday evening at one of the many restaurants nearby. Supper on Saturday will be a pot-luck in the common room. On Sunday morning, we'll pack up and then you can either go for another ride, or feel free to do touristy things in nearby St. Jacobs and other picturesque towns in the Waterloo region.
Rides are suitable for the Easy Roller and Country Cruise levels.
Registration includes:
- Two nights lodging at Wilfrid Laurier University residence
Accommodations are suites with:
- Four separate bedrooms/beds.
- One shared bathroom with shower.
- Bed linens and towels.
- Air-conditioning.
- A kitchen with microwave and refrigerator.
- Space to store bikes.
Meals:
- Bring your own breakfast and lunch provisions.
- Bring your own cutlery, plates, bowls and kitchen linens.
- Bring something for Saturday's pot-luck dinner.
Cost:
- $105 for TBN members, $120 for non-members and guests.
Cancellation policy: If a group of 12 people is not achieved, the trip will be cancelled and all costs reimbursed. If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund (minus an administrative fee of 10%) if there is a waiting list. Otherwise, it is up to you to sell your spot to someone who can occupy the room. Trip cancellation insurance is always a good idea.
We will endeavour to help arrange for car pooling but cannot promise a ride.
Registration opens Monday March 24, and closes June 7, 2014.
