Meet at 10 AM at Broadview Station, at street level near the ticket booth.
Tony will lead us on a walk to Woodbine Beach and then back up to Danforth and Main. Distance will be about 10.5 Km, with an optional extension to Victoria Park Station (12 Km). We will stop for coffee/bathroom breaks at Tim Hortons near the start, and at Woodbine Beach (6 Km). At Danforth and Main we will stop for lunch at Smiley's Restaurant and/or Mr Tasty's. There will be early drop out points to streetcars at Gerrard and Queen, both before and after Woodbine Beach at about 3.5 Km, 5 Km, 7 Km, and 8 Km.
The walk will be entirely on city streets, so street shoes or boots suitable for the weather conditions would be appropriate.
Note there is a scheduled subway closure this weekend from Lawrence to St Clair on the Yonge Line (Line 1), but please check https://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp for any changes.
