Wanakita Ski Weekend
January 13-15, 2017
Koshlong Lake, Haliburton, Ontario
Spend two nights at YMCA Camp Wanakita, located on beautiful Koshlong Lake, in the Haliburton Highlands.
Friday snacks and five delicious meals are included in the cost of $234 for members and $246 for non-members.
Most of us will be sleeping in a very large heated cabin that also has a common room & kitchenette for socializing and casual activities. The rooms have bunk-beds, and sleep three. Additional people would sleep in nearby semi-private cabins.
Outdoor activities include classic skiing on 25 kilometres of onsite groomed trails (they have skis), as well as snowshoeing (they have shoes), ice-skating on the lake (bring your own), toboganning, and a night ski to a bonfire. For those that like challenges, there are also ‘rope-and- tire’ balancing, climbing and dangling exercises. Indoor activities include reading by the fireplace, group games, crafts, yoga, and drumming.
There is a limited number of spaces on this trip. Cancellations are subject to the Club’s cancellation policy.
Registration for members will open October 29 , 2016, and November 12th for non-members.
