  • Etienne Brule Park

Downsview

New this Year: Guest riders (non-members) will need to register and pay the $5 fee online before the ride. Just follow this link to the registration page. Please bring the confirmation email to the start to show to the leader, either in printed form or on your phone.

Parking Note: If you are planning on driving to the start of the ride, please note that the parking lot at Etienne Brule is currently closed due to flood damage from an early season ice jam. It is accessible to bikes however. You can still park for free at the lot in Kings Mill Park just back over the bridge on the south side of the road and then ride over to the start.

We'll head north and east up to see the rarely visited Downsview Park, continue north, then west along the Finch Hydro Trail. A straight run on the ride south will parallel the 400 in spots. Lunch at Tim Hortons near York University. Here''s your chance to see some of the new subway stations on the York extension, at least from the outside.

This year we've gone back to the original 2015 route. The RwGPS map link has been updated with the change. Please print a copy of the new cue sheet for your reference.

Meet for a 10 am departure from the parking lot of Etiénne Brulé Park. The park is located near the intersection of Old Mill Road and Old Mill Drive, just down the hill from the Old Mill subway station.

Please print a copy of the cue sheet provided from the link listed below. Please note that the Ride with GPS cue sheet directions have not been edited and may not be accurate, but the linked cue sheet has been checked.

Remember to bring your TBN membership card and helmet.
