KEEP IN MIND THAT WINTER HIKING IS DIFFERENT THAN FALL HIKING.  PROPER CLOTHING, FOOTWEAR AND CRAMPON STYLE ICERS ARE REQUIRED TO HIKE SAFELY.  DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS THE ICERS MAY NOT BE REQUIRED BUT SHOULD BE CARRIED IN YOUR PACK JUST IN CASE THEY ARE NEEDED.
