Meet at 10 AM in front of the Public Library (on the south-east corner of Yonge & Lawrence), or at the Starbuck's on the south-west corner, just across the street from The Lawrence Subway Station (Yonge Line).
We have successfully obtained a Firepit permit, so this will be a 11 km circular route that will take us deep into the Sunnybrook/Don Valley Park System. Mid-way on the walk, we will stop at a roaring bonfire to enjoy hot apple cider and some light snacks. Participants should bring some food to share with the other hikers. At the start we will load the food into Bob's truck and carry it to the Bonfire location, so that you will not have to carry the food for the entire hike.
Walkers should consider wearing "light hiking shoes" because of the terrain.
There is a scheduled TTC subway outage from Vaughan City Centre Station to St George Station (on the Spadina Line, Line 1) in case that affects your travel plans. Be sure to check the TTC outages on the website below, as it may change again, before the walk:

This is an official TBN event, so non-members will be required to sign the waiver form and pay the $5 non-member fee.
