A 59, 74 or 95 km ride from Courtice through the Durham drumlins (Wikipedia article on drumlins) to Orono. Lunch will be at either the Village Bakeshop (reviews) or Orono Country Cafe (reviews). These are new routes designed to avoid the growing urban sprawl around Bowmanville. Meet for a 10 am departure at the Courtice Community Complex. Map.
To get to Courtice, exit Hwy 401 at Courtice Road/CR 34 (Exit 425) and drive 4.2 km north to Courtice. The parking lot is on the left just past Hwy 2 (King St). Please park around the outside perimeter of the parking lot, so as to leave the parking spaces close to the building for the users of the building. Driving directions

Caution note - these routes cross Taunton Rd in several places. Taunton Rd can be pretty busy at times.
