NOTE: If you are riding to the start from the east please note that the BIG on Bloor street festival will have Bloor closed to traffic from Dufferin to Lansdowne. Usually you can ride through if you go slowly as they're just setting up in the morning. There's also a laneway that runs parallel just north of Bloor beside the Dufferin subway entrance if they won't let you ride on the street.
The ride starts from the parking lot at the Grenadier Restaurant in High Park (about 1km south of the Bloor St entrance). NOTE: Cars access to the park is not allowed on weekends, so, if you drive to the start, allow time to park nearby to arrive on schedule. The route weaves its way up town to the Beltway, then across and down to the Brickworks and returns via the Lakeshore trail to High Park. About 45kms- should finish about 1 to1:30pm.
