Still not sure whether Tourist level rides are for you?  Come try out this CC and do the short route, which has fewer hills.  There will be a dedicated ride leader with you and regrouping of riders will happen periodically. Hope you will join us!

Ride/route description: Vintage CC territory, with a bit of an Irish lilt to its name!  This ride has two routes which head northwest from Southfields Community Centre in Caledon and into the Halton Hills. There are some hill climbs around the escarpment before lunch, but the return trip for both routes tends to be downhill back to Brampton. There are a number of venues for lunch in Erin - a bakery, supermarket, famous Baileys Ice Cream Stand - and public washrooms are available in town across from the plaza.

Distances:  58km and 79km

Start: 10:00am Southfields Community Centre, 225 Dougall Ave., Caledon ON, L7C 3M7

Driving directions: Take Highway 410 north up to Brampton. Exit at Mayfield Road and turn LEFT onto Mayfield Rd.  Continue on Mayfield Rd. to Kennedy Rd. N. at the lights; turn RIGHT onto Kennedy Rd. N. and follow to Dougall Ave., and turn RIGHT.   Southfields Community Centre will be on your right.  Park at the back of the building where washrooms should be open.  The "apres ride" gathering place is the Butter and Cup Cafe, a short walk from the parking lot.
