Two Balzac's Coffee Roasters open in Vaughan, first in York Region – Balzac's Coffee Roasters

DESCRIPTION

A ride through suburban side streets and country roads to the historic village of Kleinberg with refreshments at Balzac's Coffee Roasters or Cookie and Crumble Cafe across the road (depending on the availability of outdoor seating) before heading back to Finch station.

A 64-km option is available, turning south from King Vaughan Townline onto Kipling Avenue.

Meet north of Finch Subway Station at "Finch" west parking lot on the north side of Hendon Ave, just west of Yonge St. If a substantial part of the Yonge Subway is closed the day of this ride, alternatives for those planning to take the subway are needed: either the shuttle buses (which can carry 2 bikes each), or cycling up. Here is a recommended route, using the sidewalk under Hwy 401 and avoiding Yonge Street north of Hwy 401.

N.B. If you are driving north on Yonge St, keep going past Finch Ave and turn left onto Hendon Ave. The parking lot is on the right near 18 Hendon Ave, North York.

We are accepting "guest rider" registrations for this event. Guest registrations are $10 payable via PayPal.

If you have not registered for the ride, you may NOT  join the ride.
