City Walk - St Clair to Dupont Walk

  • 28 Oct 2018
  • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • St Clair Subway Station (Yonge Line), at the exit on the south side of St Clair East

This is our longest walk of the year, but there are many early drop-out points. For the fifth year in a row, David G. will lead us on a walk from St Clair Station (Yonge Line) through the Vale of Avoca, to the Brickworks, up Moore Park Ravine, through Mount Pleasant Cemetery, along the Belt Line, through Cedarvale and Nordheimer Ravines, and down the Casa Loma stairs to Dupont Subway station. Light hiking shoes or boots, suitable for gravel multi-use paths would be appropriate.

Note there is a scheduled subway closure this weekend between Lawrence and St Clair stations, which may affect your travel plans. Please check  https://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp for any changes or cancellations.

Meet at 10 AM at St Clair Subway Station (Yonge Line), at the exit on the south side of St Clair East, at street level. (This is just east of the south-east corner of Yonge & St. Clair). Total distance to Dupont Station is approximately 16 Km, but there are alternate drop out points with access to transit at Davisville Station (7 Km, bus service only, no subway, due to scheduled TTC closure), Eglinton West Station (11 Km), and St Clair West Station (14 Km). Several bathroom breaks are planned, as well as one coffee stop. At the end we usually go to The Pour House on Dupont.

This is an official TBN event. Non-members will be required to sign the waiver form and pay the $5 non-member fee.
