Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free for TBN members. Non-members can now purchase a 30 day trial membership for $10 here and then can register for the ride. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation by Saturday. Attendance will be checked at the start.If you register after 8 am on the day of the ride bring a copy of the confirmation email, either printed or electronic, to show to the ride leader.

We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, a helmet.

NOTE:  If you are planning on riding to the start from south of the 401, please note that the Don Valley bike trail is closed where it passes under the 401 due to highway construction. Your nearest alternatives are Leslie St or Don Mills Road, neither of which are recommended due to high traffic volumes and no bike infrastructure. If you take the subway, Fairview Mall is the eastern terminus of Line 4 (Sheppard subway).

The original version of this ride is courtesy of Tony Lau. We'll start from Don Mills station at Fairview Mall. Ride up north through downtown Markham, Unionville, Berczy Village and finally to the Cathedraltown area to see the Cathedral of Transfiguration. Lunch at a plaza with Harvey's, Subway, and Starbucks, so it's a change from Tim Hortons. Then a relatively simple ride back to the start with only four turns to Fairview Mall.

Please meet for a 10 am departure at the Don Mills subway (Line 4) entrance, located in the south parking lot of Fairview Mall, near the northeast corner of Sheppard Ave and Don Mills Road.

If the ride is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am Sunday. Please check before leaving for the ride.
