REMINDER: A mask and hand sanitizer are required.

At this time, we are not accepting "guest" registrations. TBN events are currently for members only.

Note:   Because of the large number of people on the waiting list we have decided to do 2 hikes.  They will both be the same in all aspects except that we will divide the people registered into 2 groups starting 15 minutes apart.  Please try and arrive on time (early would be better) because we are anticipating a busy parking lot and finding a spot may be a challenge.  As mentioned we are doing 2 hikes and because this is a loop hike one group will do the hike one way and the other will do the hike in reverse.  The first group will leave when we have enough people there to hike.  I am anticipating it leaving by 9.45 am.

It is going to be a great day for hiking

The Rouge National Urban Park is a rich assembly of natural, cultural and agricultural landscapes.  It is home to amazing biodiversity and some of the last remaining working farms in the Greater Toronto Area.  It houses Toronto's only campground, one of the regions largest marshes and amazing hiking opportunities.  This is the best time to be hiking because the leaves will either be changing or will have changed.

Distance:  12 km
Pace:       Moderate (~4 km/hr)
Terrain:     Moderate - some hills and/or poor footing
