Hi Ice Skaters,
We are skating at Rennie Park this evening. This will be the first time to skate on Rennie rink. By TTC - Go to Runnymede station, walk south of Bloor St. on Runnymede Rd. for two blocks, then walk through the park, and the rink is behind the tennis courts. By car - Drive south of Bloor St. for two blocks on Beresford Ave. to Morningside Ave., then jog west slightly onto Rennie Terrace, and there is a small parking lot in front of the rink and clubhouse. We will skate until about 8:00 pm and head to a restaurant on Bloor St. West for dinner.
Host for this evening is Catherine Whitfield.
For first timers to Friday evening ice skating, a TBN membership is not required. We skate on public rinks. Admission is free to almost all rinks. A few rinks have skate rentals. We skate for about one and half hours and then head to a restaurant nearby for dinner.
