NIAGARA WINE aND PEACH LOVERS' TOUR

Wake up and smell the grapes on revised routes of this popular CC! Tour the picturesque farmland, orchards, and vineyards of western Niagara Region, with many opportunities for wine tasting along the way if you so desire. The ride is fairly gentle even when climbing the Escarpment and has a lovely descent on the return, as pictured below. There are various options for a lunch stop on the routes including Tim Hortons in Beamsville, a fruit market on Victoria St. in Vineland, or, in Jordon, at the RPM Bakery on Main St. or the Plant No. 01 cafe on Nineteenth St. Public washrooms are available opposite the Plant No. 01 cafe, next to the Fire Station.

Start: 9:00am At the Lincoln Community Centre in Beamsville.
Driving directions: Take QEW Niagara to Exit 64, Beamsville. Go south (right) on Ontario Street 2.5 km to John Street. (at lights). Turn left on John Street, go 200 m, then turn right on to Central Avenue. The Community Centre is on the left at 4361 Central Ave, Beamsville, ON L0R 1B6. Allow sufficient travel time – this is about 105 km from Yonge & Eglinton.
