City Walk - Winter Stations 2020

For Sunday, February 23, meet at 10 AM at the McDonald's, 1735 Danforth Avenue, near Coxwell Station, on the south side of Danforth, about 200 m east of Coxwell. 

We will walk to the Winter Stations art installation at Woodbine Beach. Info on Winter Stations is available at:

The total distance will be about 10 Km, and we will end up at Chester Station. We will be walking mostly on city streets and on the beach. We will stop at the Tim Hortons at Boardwalk Place for coffee, and there will be an additional washroom break on the way back.

Early exits and other points of interest along the way include:

  • 0.0 Km – McDonald’s, 1735 Danforth (coffee, bathrooms)
  • 2.6 Km – early exit to Queen streetcar
  • 3.3 Km – Tim Hortons, Boardwalk Place (coffee, bathrooms)
  • 4.3 Km – if needed, Tim Hortons, Boardwalk Place (coffee, bathrooms)
  • 6.5 Km – early exit to Queen streetcar
  • 7.3 Km – early exit to Gerrard streetcar
  • 7.8 Km – Walmart Gerrard Square (bathrooms)
  • 9.7 Km – Kalyvia Restaurant
  • 10.0 Km – Chester Station (end of walk)

Non-members are welcome. They will be asked to sign the waiver form but will not be charged the non-member fee.
