Sunday Tourist: Newtonbrook to Holland Marsh

  • 28 Aug 2016
  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Finch TTC Station West Parking Lot

A new route that goes through some familiar territory. One of two changes is the closure of Keele Street at the intersection of Lloydtown Aurora Rd due to construction for a new roundabout. Another detour is around bridge-work in the Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area on Highway 34/2nd Concession Rd.

That road closure means the longest ride will eat in Newmarket. The middle ride eats at the Tim Hortons in Aurora, on the way back south. The shortest ride dine's at Aurora's finest McDonald's.

*** Yonge Street north of Bloor is going to be congested this weekend as the TTC shuts down Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and Lawrence stations for scheduled maintenance. Shuttle buses will run along the duration of the route.
