Annual Spring Challenge ……
TORONTO-NIAGARA-TORONTO OVERNIGHT
JUNE 13 - 14, 2015
Registration opens Friday April 17, 2015 at 9 a.m.
Registration for this event has offically closed, but a few spaces are still available. If you are interested in taking these, please email leader Jimmy Yeung at tnto@tbn.ca to obtain a code. Or you may still register for the "map and luggage only" option below.
TNTO is a two-day cycling challenge for experienced cyclists now in its 22nd year, featuring rides from Toronto or Stoney Creek to Niagara Falls and back the next day.
NEW THIS YEAR: a new route will take us to Niagara via the lakeshore, to avoid the Ride to Conquer Cancer and planned construction on Ridge Road. Check the Ride with GPS map here to see where you will be cycling, and enjoy a new experience along with the traditional cameraderie of this event.
If you start at High Park, you may choose the 150km route to Niagara, or the long route of 180km. From Stoney Creek, the first day to Niagara is 86km. Coming home on Sunday, the mileage is 150 or 90km.
Other than luggage transfer, this is a bare-bones, unsupported ride and there are no ride leaders, sweeps or sag wagon.
This event is a great target for your early cycling season training goals. It is a challenging ride for experienced cyclists. In addition to the beauty and exhilaration of riding through Niagara Falls at the end of day one, you can celebrate with all the FREE watermelon you can eat upon your arrival at the motel.
Registration is open to TBN members only until Saturday, May 9, at which time non-members may apply.
Basic price of $75 per person includes maps, luggage transfer, and motel accommodation, two people in a room. There is a limited number of single rooms and deluxe shared rooms. Fee for map and luggage transfer only is $20. Non-members pay $10 more.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are possible until June 10, only if there are people of your sex on the waiting list who can take your spot. You will receive a full refund, minus a $14 cancellation fee per person. After June 10, no cancellations are allowed, but you may sell your spot privately.
Please ensure you have read the TNTO FAQs and Training Tips, 2015 document before registering for TNTO. Lots more useful information here.
