Learn to Draft: Introduction to Group/Pack Riding Techniques
Riding in a group reduces a rider's workload by 30%. This clinic, exclusive for TBN members is intended to help intermediate cyclists improve their time and performance on distance rides by working together as a group...such as at TNTO on June 17th and 18th.
Daniel Yang from The Beaches Cycling Club will lead this session which will cover:
- How to Draft
- Safe Group Start/Stops
- Gearing/Shifting...What's the Right Time?
- Cadence (What is right?)
- Bike Handling...Tips and Tricks
- Hills
- Rotation
This class is limited to 15 participants.

Target: Low Intermediate (Tourist and strong Urban Roller riders only)
SKILLS SESSION:
Saturday June 10, 2017 @ 8:00 a.m. start
Birchmount Stadium
75 Birchmount Street, Toronto M1N 3J7
(south of Danforth Road and north of Kingston Road)
Session will be 1 hour training followed by a group ride.
NOTE: This session is for LOW INTERMEDIATE riders ONLY. Please do not register for this session if you are not at least a strong Urban Roller rider - distance and speed.
