Stay at the rustic Wolf Den Hostel and Nature Retreat near Algonquin Park, from Friday evening to Monday.  Bike, canoe, hike or swim each day.  Because of the facility and the options available, this is an "any weather" weekend trip.

We have booked the entire hostel. Included will be light dinner on Friday evening and 3 breakfasts. Everybody will be scheduled for preparations of those meals. Please consider that you are responsible for your other meals (3 lunches and Sunday dinner).  Saturday evening will be potluck (group meal).

The cost for three nights is only $130 to $260 per person according to the chosen accommodation for TBN members.

Activities: The weekend offers cycling, awesome hiking, and canoeing/kayaking, and of course cycling (road, gravel and mountain).

The Old Railway Bike Trail is perfect for Leisure Wheelers. For most of its 16 kilometers (one way) the trail follows the abandoned bed of the historic Ottawa, Arnprior, and Parry Sound Railway. You have several opportunities to swim in several lakes on your way. You can choose to bike to the start of the trail on highway 60. Highway 60 through Algonquin Park does have a shoulder suitable for biking.

For more information about Wolf Den and the many possible activities read this: Information sheet

You can read a description of your accommodation options available on Wolf Den website.
