Meet at about 10:00 AM at Bayview Village Shopping Centre, outside (or just inside) the main entrance in the middle of the south side. The closest subway is Bayview, on Line 4 (Sheppard). We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.

We will walk approximately 9 Km in one or two loops, returning to Bayview Village Shopping Centre. The planned route is mostly on city streets and paved pathways but includes some gravel or unpaved paths which may be quite steep (11.5% grade down) and a long stairway up. If conditions are poor, or any walker does not feel comfortable, we will bypass the steep grades and the stairway.

There may be parking lots close to the start of the walk, or there may be street parking available on nearby side streets, but the best choice may be to use the subway.

No scheduled subway outages have been posted yet, but please check Subway service (ttc.ca) in case there are any changes.

Points of interest (more to be added later) and early exits along the way include:

  • 0.0 Km – Bayview Village Shopping Centre (start of walk, coffee, washroom)
  • 4.2 Km Bayview Village Shopping Centre (coffee, washroom, early exit to subway)
  • 8.9 Km – Bayview Village Shopping Centre (end of walk, coffee, washroom)

The route will be available on Ride with GPS at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41521971.

We are accepting Guest registrations.

If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.
