SORRY TO DO THIS, BUT I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THE RIDE TODAY FOR TWO REASONS. THE FIRST IS BECAUSE OF A FAIRLY HIGH CHANCE OF RAIN, WHILE THE SECOND MORE IMPORTANT REASON IS BECAUSE OF HIGH PREDICTED WINDS, WITH GUSTS OVER 50 KPH EXPECTED AROUND NOON. I DON'T BELIEVE IT'S SAFE RIDING IN THOSE CONDITIONS, AS I HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH BEING BLOWN BY HIGH WINDS INTO THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY (LUCKILY NO CARS WERE COMING) AND NEARLY BEING KNOCKED DOWN BY THE GUST.
PEOPLE CAN STILL MEET TO RIDE IF THEY CHOOSE, BUT IT WON'T BE AN OFFICIAL TBN RIDE.

Meet north of Finch Subway Station at "Finch" west parking lot on the north side of Hendon Ave, just west of Yonge St.
N.B. If you are travelling north on Yonge St, keep going past Finch Ave and turn left onto Hendon Ave. The parking lot is on the right near 18 Hendon Ave, North York.
A ride through suburban side streets and country roads skirting the Holland Marsh, then heading south through Newmarket followed by a lunch stop at Tim Hortons in Aurora.
This is a Tourist-A ride. Regroup after traffic lights on the way out of the city. Once clear of the city, smaller groups will form at faster or slower paces. Be prepared to be self-sufficient.
If you start with the A-ride and it's too hard, you can join the Tourist-B riders when they come along anywhere during the first twenty km (where the two routes overlap).
