TOURIST PACE RIDE TO NIAGARA AND TAKE GO TRAIN BACK.
Taking advantage of nice weather and the holiday GO train, we are going to do ride to Niagara Falls and take the GO train back.

Return GO train to Burlington: Boarding at 3:16 pm arriving at 4:36 pm.
Routes: THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY We will have 3 options for our riders.
1) THE GOOD: Along the lakefront and Niagara-On-The-Lake. This is the less challenging of the 3 with pancake flat terrain and smooth pavements of service roads and Niagara-On-The-Lake with plenty of bake shops, ice cream stands and fruit stands. 2) THE BAD: First 40 km, same as the waterfront route then ride through Beamsville and climb up the escarpment to Fonthill, take the Port Roberson Ferry across Welland Canal and then take Biggar Rd/Lyons Creek Road to Niagara Falls. RWGPS file: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39551053
3) THE UGLY: More challenging but scenic route of the 3 routes. At 17 km,we will climb up to the top of Niagara Escarpment from Stoney Creek at and then ride along the ridge on mostly Ridge Road. We will ride through Ball's Fall Conservation Area, Effingham Hill, along Welland River and Niagara River to Niagara Falls. RWGPS file: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36709203

We would like to suggest leaving the car home by taking the early GO train to Burlington station if you live downtown or live near the GO station. Avoid traffic congestion and save money. Please check the GO train schedule.
