Saturday July 16th to Sunday July 17th, 2022.
Registration Opens Sunday May 15th at 8 am. Last day to register is June 15th.
Staying at the Comfort Inn, 85 Queensway Drive East, Simcoe Ontario for one night. Cost per person is $80.00 based on double occupancy per room. If you have a roommate please let us know ahead of time; otherwise we will assign an appropriate person. Price includes a continental breakfast at the hotel and a host of researched routes from 40 kms up to 80kms+.
The cycling is generally flat in the area but watch out for the winds. Total attendance is limited to only 20 people and the cutoff date for registering is June 15th. There is an option to add the Friday evening to come early for the weekend. Please contact the organizer if you would like this option. It will be a separate registration costing $80.00 per person for the night, double occupancy.
All Participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID to participate in this trip and will be required to show proof of vaccination.
Saturday
We will ride down to Port Dover to the French bakery for croissants. We will ride along the shores of Lake Erie past very old buildings, oldest standing mill in Ontario, old growth Carolinian Forest, various microbreweries and an artisanal bakery.
Sunday
We will head north along some rail trails to Waterford to the Antique Market and a botanical garden. Lots of farm markets along the way for hungry cyclists.
