Description & Lunch Details:

This is a Tourist-class ride - be prepared to be self-sufficient - from Campbellville past Waterdown, with lunch at the Lowville Golf Club (website). The Lowville Golf Club is on Britannia Road on the right, one driveway past Conservation Halton and 400 metres before the church at Guelph Line where we used to turn left to descend down into Lowville. The Club has sandwiches or full meals. Note that the Club is open to ride-in visitors, but can not guarantee a seating for us. You may want to pack a lunch.

The leader, Rick MacMillan, will be riding the short distance route (62 km), which includes the Bell School Line hill. Other riders may choose either the medium or long variants, both of which include the Bell School Line hill.

Driving Directions:

Meet at the New Ball Park in Campbellville. The entrance is off Reid Road just after crossing over the 401. For driving directions: click here

Cancellation Considerations:

Check the website 2 hours before the start time - the ride could be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the organizers. If you have registered but can't attend, log in, click on "Already registered", then cancel.

REMINDER: A mask and hand sanitizer are required.

At this time, we are not accepting "guest rider" registrations.

Caution note: there is a nasty left turn on both the medium (79 km) and long (101 km) routes. It's where you turn left off Appelby Line and cross over to Side Rd 2. The turn is on a bend and so there are visibility issues in both directions. Consider pulling over to the right side of the road and stopping so that you can look carefully in both directions before crossing over (the "Safer Left Turn").
