The City of Toronto website says "Explore Toronto’s architectural, historical, cultural and socially significant buildings for free during Doors Open weekend. With sports, music and theatre venues and more than 150 sites to discover, the city becomes an urban playground. Get ready to play."
This year’s Doors Open Toronto will take place on May 24 & 25. Information on the buildings & sites, talks, and neighbourhood tours being offered this year can be found at: https://www.toronto.ca/explore-enjoy/festivals-events/doors-open-toronto/. We encourage everyone to participate by visiting some of the sites.
If you would like to join some TBN members to visit some sites, please meet at Tim Hortons, 1251 Bloor St W, near Lansdowne Station at about 10:00 AM. We can first go to Brook McIlroy and MOCA. We can then follow the proposed route indicated below, change it to go where we like. We will leave from Tims at 10:10.
A suggested route that we may follow is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50849412
Please note that on Line 1 (Yonge-University), there will be a full weekend closure on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, 2025, between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations. Please modify your travel plans accordingly.
We have introduced a 30-Day-Trial membership class which allows "guests" to participate in most activities over the span of a 1-month period, for a fee of $10.
If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.
If you have registered but can't attend, log in, click on "Already registered", then cancel.
If you have trouble finding us at the start, please call my cell at 416-917-8866. If I don't answer, try again, as I may miss the first call.
