Weather looking good, though somewhat frigid for this time of the year. Winds should peak at 26 km/h from the northwest at around noon and progressively weaken. Temperatures will start at 5*C and climb to about 9*C by the end of the ride. Very LOW risk of precipitation at the beginning of the ride. No risk after that. We're good to go! Enjoy the ride.
Starting from our Newtonbrook base, the Finch TTC Subway Station, we ride up through some suburban, and quiet Sunday industrial lands.
Most riding will occur on country roads for the longer rides while for the shorter ride has about a quarter of its route in the country. Last year's construction is now over, so we have a new roundabout on Keele street, and main street in Schmoberg is nicely paved.
The longest ride stops at the Grackle Coffee Shop in Schomberg. The middle-distance and shortest distance rides stop at Tim Hortons on Kirby Road in Maple.
