Wednesday Wheelie – Special Saturday Edition - Courtice to Orono

Saturday is the "queen" and final stage of the Greenbelt Staycation (link). If you are interested in a great ride this Saturday through through the lovely hilly drumlins of Durham County (Wikipedia article on drumlins), please consider joining us. There will be three routes to choose from - 59, 74 or 95 km.  The rides start in Courtice, and head to Orono. Lunch will be at either the Village Bakeshop (reviews) or Orono Country Cafe (reviews). Meet for a 9:00 am departure at the Courtice Community Complex. Map

To get to Courtice, exit Hwy 401 at Courtice Road/CR 34 (Exit 425) and drive 4.2 km north to Courtice. The parking lot is on the left just past Hwy 2 (King St). Please park around the outside perimeter of the parking lot, so as to leave the parking spaces close to the building for the users of the building.  Driving directions 

Facilities are available in the Courtice Community Complex building.

Caution note - these routes cross Taunton Rd in several places. Taunton Rd can be pretty busy at times.
