Hello Ice Skaters,
This will be the first Friday night ice skating for the season. We will start the first evening with an outdoor skate at Harbourfront. If the weather is warm, please check the web site on the Friday and the location will be changed to York Mills Arena.
The Harbourfront Natrel Rink is located at 245 Queen's Quay West. By TTC - Take the subway to Union station and then take any streetcar two stops. Walk south towards the lake. By car - Parking is on the south side of Queen's Quay.
There are skate rentals and a heated change room with washrooms. We will skate until about 8:00 pm and head to a restaurant near by for dinner.
The host is Catherine Whitfield and Ice Skate coordinator.
For first timers to Friday evening ice skating, a TBN membership is not required. We skate on public rinks. Admission is free to almost all rinks. A few rinks have skate rentals. We skate for about one and half hours and then head to a restaurant nearby for dinner. Anyone is welcome to just join us for the ice skating or just the dinner after the skating.
