Sunday Urban Roller - Kleinburg

Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free for TBN members. Non-members can now purchase a 30 day trial membership for $10 here and then can register for the ride. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation by Saturday. Attendance will be checked at the start. If you register after 8 am on the day of the ride bring a copy of the confirmation email, either printed or electronic, to show to the ride leader.

Come for a good Advanced Urban Roller style workout with a few more hills. The route was changed last year to take advantage of the new cycling infrastructure on Teston and Weston Roads.This is a longer version of the popular Maple ride that goes an additional 30 km out into the countryside and visits charming Kleinburg. We'll stop briefly in Kleinburg for coffee/snacks or to see the sights, then hop back on the bikes to get to lunch at Tim Hortons/Wendys near Canada's Wonderland.

There are some hills on this ride, but for the most part they are short, and the coffee stop in Kleinburg is right after the steepest one so you can get a chance to recover if you need it. The hills are done with by the time we cross back over the 400 on the way to lunch.

Meet for a 10:00 am departure at the Finch Subway parking lot, NW corner of Yonge and Hendon Ave, one block north of Finch. 

If the ride is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am Sunday. Please check before leaving for the ride.
