A ride from Keswick along the shores of Lake Simcoe past Sibbald Point Provincial Park to Virginia Beach Marina. The medium and long routes then turn inland while the short route returns back along the shores of Lake Simcoe. Lunch for all three routes will be at Tim Horton's on Dalton Rd in Sutton. Please note that Catering Road into Sutton will be under construction all summer. The RWGPS maps (med & long) below detour via McCowan & Baseline to approach Sutton. Pls update your navigation devices. Meet for a 9 am departure at the Georgina Ice Palace, just off Woodbine Ave in Keswick.

Due to Covid we are only allowed to cycle in groups of 10. Therefore, we are organizing two Tourist-Class WW rides each Wednesday. The “A” ride will depart at 9:00 and will be for slightly faster riders – Average speed over a typical WW ride of greater than 23 kmph. The “B” ride will depart at 9:30 and will be at a slower speed – 20-23 kmph. If you do not ride at an average speed of at least 20 kmph – WW is not for you.
We will keep the two groups socially distanced. Wear a mask in the parking lot. If you are riding in the “B” group, please do not arrive at the starting location until after the “A’ group departs at 9:00. Or stay in your car.
Lunch break – both groups will be riding the same routes. Again to maintain social distance the “A” group should not stay at the lunch stop for more than 30 minutes.
NB: This week we will be offering a Ride C at 10:00 under the same conditions as above.
These rides will be open for registration starting from Fri Jun 11 at 12:01am until Tue Jun 15 at 11:59pm. There will be a wait list. To allow everyone a chance to ride – please do not register for both rides. There will be no guest registrations during the pandemic.
Cancellations – if you register and later determine that you cannot ride – please, please cancel as soon as possible to allow someone on the wait list a chance to join the event. Please don't be a No Show!
Check the website 2 hours before the start time - the ride could be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the organizers.
