Meet at 10 AM at the McDonald's on the north-east corner of Runnymede and Bloor, near Runnymede subway station. We will be on the 2nd floor.
Note that Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday morning, so make sure you set your clocks back and do not show up too early.
Julie will lead us on a walk along the waterways and parks of Swansea, the South Kingsway and Mimico. The endpoint and apres will be at Royal York station. This walk will be about half city streets and half paths, and will include unpaved paths. Hiking boots or light hiking boots are recommended. Distance will be about 12 Km. There will be some drop-out points to transit buses and a coffee/bathroom break around the midpoint.
Note that there is a scheduled subway closure this weekend on Line 1 (Yonge Line) from Lawrence to St Clair, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp for any changes.
