A pothole in the Rockwood Conservation Area. Such holes in the rock were carved out by stones swirling around in eddies in rivers under the ice as the glaciers melted at the end of the last Ice Age 12,000 years ago.
Thanks to Cindy for contacting the church. Rev. Shawn has given permission for 10 cars to use the church parking lot, as per current covid rules.
This is a Tourist-class ride - be prepared to be self-sufficient.

Weather forecast: click here Four routes are offered from 60 km to 91 km. The 69 to 91 km rides go through picturesque Glen Eden. Lunch is in Rockwood where there are several places to buy food. Often we meet for lunch at Waterside Park on Main St.
Caution note: Please ride single file on Highway 7 on the way into Rockwood.
