CANCELLED Athens Cafe (Boardwalk) to Guildwood + Option to Highland Creek

Forecast and radar shows too many showers are coming our way!  So we are cancelling the ride.

Starting from the Athens Cafe at Boardwalk Place, the ride goes east, following the Lakeshore Trail to Guildwood for a coffee/washroom break and returning by a very similar route.  The route includes a few hills, to challenge your fitness!  An extra attraction for a longer ride: from the coffee stop, we can ride an extra loop down Highland Creek and back (15kms) to Guildwood.  Return to start by about 1:30 to 2pm (or 12;30 to 1pm for shorter ride).  Longer (optional) route not shown on map and cue sheet.

Meet at the parking lot of Boardwalk Place, The Beaches at 9:15 AM for a prompt 9:30 AM departure.

Weather forecast

Remember to bring your membership card and helmet. Non-members $5 fee. Ride will be cancelled if it is raining at the start or a major weather warning has been issued for the route.
