Sunday Urban Roller - Unionville (see weather note) (Start point change) (see traffic note)

  • 21 Oct 2018
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Victoria Park Subway

Unionville (almost)

Weather Note:   As of Saturday afternoon, Sunday's forecast isn't great, cold with possible afternoon showers or flurries. If the ride isn't cancelled by 8 am please note that if the weather turns unpleasant on the ride that it may be shortened to about 25 kms (with a snack/warm-up stop) to get us back sooner. A decision will be made around the Midland Ave/Hwy 401 point.

Alternatively, if the weather is better than expected, the ride will be extended slightly to take us through some of historic Unionville and the upper reaches of the Humber River. Dress warmly in either case.

Traffic Note: If you are riding to the start from the west, please note that Bloor Street will be closed between Bathurst and Bay Streets between 8 and 10 am for the Toronto Marathon on Sunday. Also, the subway (Line 1) will open late between St Clair West and Spadina.

A route with an east end start takes us up to "near" the historic village. Lunch at Tim Hortons.

Meet for a 10 am start in the parking lot of Victoria Park Subway station, on Victoria Park Avenue, just north of Danforth Avenue at Denton Avenue.
