Sunday Urban Roller - Mimico Creek
Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free and limited to TBN members. Under the Phase 2 Provincial guidelines we are permitted a total of 25 participants. As spaces are limited, if you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation before Saturday so that others may attend. Attendance will be checked at the start.
We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, hand sanitizer.
A slightly longer ride for our second outing. This one will take us up to the Eglinton bike path, then down a bit of Mimico Creek and (mostly) quiet streets to a different Tim Hortons for lunch. From there it's over to the Etobicoke Creek trail down to the lake, and back along the Waterfront Trail to the Humber River. Then back up the Humber to the start.
Meet at Kings Mill Park for a 10 am start.
Due to ongoing sewer construction, our usual start point of Etienne Brule Park is closed, and will remain so until some time next year. We will be starting instead from the parking lot of Kings Mill Park, just back across the bridge over the Humber and on the south side. There aren't as many parking spaces as at Brule, so you may want to consider parking on one of the nearby residential streets, or in the Old Mill pay parking lot ($2/hr.)
