The idea here is to log another ride of 100+ km because of the tremendous benefits of long-distance cycling on the body's immune system (T cells in particular, as explained here), while having a great ride and a great cafe/food stop.

Meet on the south side of the Burlington GO station. The 8:51 AM train from Union Station arrives in Burlington at 9:31, hence the 9:45 AM start.

We will make a short, rather steep ascent to the top of the Niagara escarpment just past Stoney Creek (walking your bike here, if necessary, is OK). Then, we have a relatively flat ride among vineyards, occasionally dipping slightly into forested valleys as we head to Revalee Brunch Cafe in Vineland, where I will have made a reservation a few days before the ride for the covered outdoor patio  (this place is a bit pricier than our usual Sunday Tourist stops, but hey - we only live once!). The return trip is largely along the lakeshore.

We are accepting "guest rider" registrations for this event. Guest registrations are $10 payable via PayPal.

If you have not registered for the ride, you may NOT  join the ride.

This is a Tourist-B ride. For more information about Sunday Tourist Rides, please click here.
