October Dining Out: Mexican
On Thursday, October 23, we will be in a fairly central location at a great new Mexican restaurant. Casa Mezcal has only been open a few months, but it's had a lot of great (five-star) reviews and has become very popular. The food seems quite authentic, and getting your guacamole served in the mortar and pestle it was made in is a nice touch. You can accompany your meal with some interesting cocktails or some fine Mexican beer (not Corona). Also, the kitchen can adjust the spiciness of your order.
From Casa Mezcal's website:
Discover bold Mexican and Tex-Mex flavors just steps from Casa Loma at 252 Dupont. Enjoy sizzling fajitas, tacos, and Latin-inspired dishes paired with handcrafted margaritas and mezcal cocktails. More than dining, CASA offers a vibrant cultural experience with warm hospitality, perfect for locals and tourists alike.
You can view more info about the restaurant here.
Our reservation is for 6:30, so please try to arrive on time.
This event is limited to 16 members and their guests. Please register before Tuesday, October 21st at midnight. Because these events are very popular, there is always a wait list, so please remember to cancel if you cannot make it. If you don't know how to cancel, please send a message to the email address below. Note that if you register and then not attend, and you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the event, you will be moved to the wait list for the next dinner you register for.
Casa Mezcal is located at 252 Dupont Street. There is metered street parking near the restaurant. For those who won't drive, the restaurant is an ONE-minute walk from Dupont Subway Station. View the map here.
