Camping and Cycling Weekend Getaway

August 14 to 16, 2020:

Registration opens Sunday, 10 May 2020 - Saturday night at midnight

Visit the web page for more information:  Tecumseth Tranquilizer

Come to Earl Rowe Provincial Park for a weekend of cycling in the area surrounding Alliston.  Explore some favourite TBN destinations.  Cycling routes are available from 40 to 100+ km.  Saturday evening, enjoy a night hike along the Boyne River Valley, or just relax around the campfire.  The terrain is varied from relatively flat to hilly depending on the routes you choose.

Enjoy the company of fellow cyclists camping on a group site Friday and Saturday night.  Provided will be two pancake and egg breakfasts and provisions for two sandwich style lunches.  Saturday night dinner will be potluck.  The last day for registration is Sunday, August 9th.

Register online for this outing.  If you want to pay by cheque or register by mail, complete the sign up sheet below and include a cheque for $45 (or $50 if you are not a TBN member) made payable to the “The Toronto Bicycling Network, Inc.”.

Have a look at the information sheet below, even if you are signing up online - it contains suggestions on what to bring and the revised (last year) cancellation policy:

When you complete payment when registering online, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to download a confirmation document with directions to the park, an itinerary, and some extra information.  If you are mailing your form close to the cut off date, send us a concurrent email - mail has arrived after the weekend trip!

While we will not directly organize car pooling, we will help in the process.  Contact us for more information.  For car poolers, if you can not find a ride, we will refund your online payment or return or destroy your cheque.

You will need a tent and some camping supplies.

Earl Rowe Provincial Park is about an hour drive North from Toronto.
