Have you ever wanted to tour on your bicycle but didn’t know where to begin?
Please join us for an evening with Peter Brother, who will provide you an opportunity to learn everything there is to bike touring. Learn from a traveler who has cycled thousands of kilometers, through numerous countries.
Peter’s seminar will include the basics of cycle touring and more: selecting and equipping a bike; how to pack and load; camping equipment; clothing and how to dress for different weather conditions; training trip planning; food and nutrition; and so much more.
Following Peter’s session, Martin Neale (Hoopdriver Bicycles) will discuss tools and basic bike maintenance. There will be a one hour visit to Hoopdriver Bicycles offering a 10% discount
For those attending this seminar, you will be invited to join Peter on a mini tour camping trip to Valens Conservation area (approximately 30kms each way) at the end of May. The trip will depart from Aldershot GO Station. Details of the trip will be discussed at the seminar.
