Meet at about 10:00 AM in front of Pape Station, near the main entrance at ground level . We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.
We will walk in a loop to one of Toronto's new parks, Leslie Lookout Park, and back to Pape Station, covering a distance of about 9 Km. We will see a number of interesting things along the way.
There will be washrooms near the start and finish, and a Tim Hortons just past the middle of the walk. As we will be in the Leslieville area, there will be several early exits to TTC buses/streetcars for those who do not want to walk the entire distance. We will end up on Danforth Avenue, where there are a number of restaurants or other establishments for a meal or a snack afterwards.
The walk will be entirely on city streets, so please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather.
There are currently no scheduled subway outages for this date, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/subway-service#e=0 in case there are any changes.
