Sunday Urban Roller - Milliken Club Picnic
Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free for TBN members. This is a TBN members only event. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation by Saturday. Attendance will be checked at the start. If you register after 8 am on the day of the ride bring a copy of the confirmation email, either printed or electronic, to show to the ride leader.
We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, a helmet.

WEATHER NOTE: (Sunday morning 6:30 am) Today's forecast is for a high of 20 with a chance (30 to 60%) of light showers and possible thunderstorms with gusty west winds developing. If you are riding today you should consider bringing your raingear. If you decide to drive to the picnic or get there by other means please cancel your ride registration before 9 am so that we are not waiting at the start for people to show up. Cancelling your ride registration doesn't cancel your picnic registration.
TTC NOTE: This Sunday subway service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth will start late (11 am) between Broadview and St George stations. Shuttle buses will run instead. Also Pape station will be closed for work on the Ontario line.
It's time again for the TBN annual club picnic, back in it's regular time slot, the weekend after Cyclon. It will be held at last year's location, Milliken Park in northeast Scarborough. We will still be starting the Urban Roller ride from Finch, but with a new route to get us to the picnic. The food this year is expected to be sandwiches and salads.
There is a separate listing for attendance to help in food planning. Please look for it HERE and register there as well by the Tuesday Aug 6th deadline.
Meet for a 10 am departure from the commuter parking lot of the Finch TTC station, located on Hendon Avenue, on the west side of Yonge Street, one block north of Finch Avenue West.
Due to the amount of preparations (food, etc) the ride will go ahead, rain or shine. Let's hope for shine.
