Staying at the Comfort Inn, 85 Queensway Drive East, Simcoe Ontario for one night. Cost per person is $81.00 per night based on double occupancy per room. If you have a roommate please let us know upon booking; otherwise we will assign an appropriate person. Price includes a light continental breakfast at the hotel and a host of researched routes of either 60 km or 80 km.
The cycling is generally flat in the area but watch out for the winds. Total attendance is limited to only 20 people and the cutoff date for registering is June 20th. This trip sold out quickly last year. There is an option to add the Friday evening to come early for the weekend. If you are interested in this second option of staying a second night, please contact trip Organizer Denis Szilvasy, touring@tbn.ca
Saturday
We will ride down to Port Dover to the French bakery for croissants. We will ride along the shores of Lake Erie past very old buildings, oldest standing mill in Ontario, old growth Carolinian Forest, various microbreweries and an artisanal bakery.
Sunday
We will head north along some rail trails to Waterford to the Antique Market and a botanical garden. Lots of farm markets along the way for hungry cyclists.
