HO HO HO. The season is upon us and at least someone is still riding

Sign up for the one ski weekend that has not yet sold out
TBN Winter enthusiasts have been quick on the draw. Two of the three weekend events sold out soon after opening for registration. However, one returning favourite still has space, and that is at Arrowhead Provincial Park, Feb 6-8. See the sidebar for details and sign up soon, before this one also sells out.

Ski, walk, skate, spin

There are plenty of TBN events to keep you active in the cold weather. Check the website for our City Walksspinning and skating programs.

One of the most popular and unique skating evenings is this Friday December 12, where we get to skate through the trail at Colonel Samuel Smith Park.
Learn more here, and c'mon out for a fun night of skating....and more.

The always popular Ski day-trips begin December 28. Let a bus take you on a return trip to ski country and enjoy the great ski and snowshoe conditions. Register for the bus to Hardwood Hills here.

Check the TBN events calendar for all the TBN activities.

TBN wants to hear from you

TBN will soon deploy a survey to all currently paid-up members to ask for opinions on what is important to you, how we are doing, and what we can do better. Everyone who fills out the survey will have a chance to win a prize. Check your email in-box in the next few days for the survey.

Are you Christmas shopping?

Forget Walmart, Canadian Tire and Ethel's Custom Moose Carvings. Instead, give the gift of cycling and save big time in the process. Check out the GTA retailers and services that offer discounts to TBN members. Save money on bikes and accessories, as well as services such as tours, training sessions or a subscription to Pedal Magazine.

Get involved

TBN volunteers run all of our activities like Ski trips, Skating, Cyclon, Toogood Pond picnic, TNTO and much more. Without volunteer support from members like you, we would be unable to run these programs, book the venues, pay the bills, send out newsletters, process memberships, get prize donations, flip the burgers, and much more. There are many small, short-term tasks that can use a set of hand so please contact president@tbn.ca to learn more.

Enjoy the festive season, and remember to visit the TBN calendar of events to find out more about what's coming up.
